Two rooms in {10-11} Carlton House Terrace are getting a makeover

The Mall Room and Lecture Room at {10-11} Carlton House Terrace are getting refurbed!

“We’ve worked with a specialist carpet company to add a luxe feel to two of our favourite rooms, The Mall and Lecture Rooms. The bespoke carpet designs were inspired by the intricate ceilings in each space, and the deep emerald carpet colour with gold accents reinstate the grandeur and history of 10 Carlton House Terrace which was formally one of London’s grandest homes.. We hope that these new carpets will enhance the event experience, particularly for lunches, dinners and receptions.” – Amie Murphy, Venue Business Development and Marketing Manager.

If you’re looking for a room with a view, then The Mall and Lecture Rooms are the perfect setting to impress your guests. The aptly named Mall Room overlooks St James’s Park, Horse Guards Parade and the London Eye and the Lecture Room is the only room at {10-11} with a painted ceiling in the trompe-l’œil style – both give a real sense of place to any event.

Church House Westminster make the Exhibition News Awards 2022 shortlist

Church House have been selected as a finalist in the category: Best Venue Under 10,000sqm.

The Exhibition News Awards (ENAs) return to Battersea Evolution on 18th March 2022 to showcase outstanding achievements within the UK and global exhibition industry. The awards celebrate individuals, teams, and businesses across several new and revised categories that reflect the ever-changing exhibitions industry.

The category for venues under 10,000sqm is open to all venues based in the UK. Judges will be looking for quantity and diversity of events held, ESG strategies and their results, how the venue has improved facilities, and its commitment to working with organisers and D&I strategies.

Head of Events for Church House Westminster, Vedrana Dancerelle, comments: “We’re delighted to be recognised for the way we evolved with the challenge of the pandemic. Innovative and creative adaptation of our facilities and a pro-active way of finding solutions have secured new and exciting exhibitions for the multi-purpose venue. Of course, this ripple-effect extends to the Westminster community in which we operate and the wider London build-back for events, which is a huge benefit to the industry”.

The growing popularity of Church House Westminster as an exhibition destination is due to a number of advantages the unique venue offers:

  • A central London location, in the heart of Westminster with stunning views of Westminster Abbey and Dean’s Yard
  • An expert team of venue experts fully supported by dedicated event coordinators, on-site production technicians, and caterers to deliver seamless events for exhibition organisers, their delegates, and sponsors.
  • A choice of 19 versatile event spaces, the largest an impressive circular hall, and a purpose-built virtual studio.

Congratulations Church House Westminster! We wish you the best of luck for the final. Find out more about this unique venue here.
