London Transport Museum

The London Transport Museum has a new vibrant and modern feel after its £22.4m refurbishment. This can be experienced throughout its unique and varied gallery, theatre and boardroom spaces. Centrally located in Covent Garden, this truly 'London' venue celebrates one of the Capital's favourite talking points, the red London bus.

The Museum Galleries provide a spectacular backdrop for evening cocktail receptions of up to 500 guests, awards ceremonies and celebratory dinner parties with seating for up to 180 guests. The museum mixes the old with the new with dynamic displays of iconic posters and original artworks, vintage public transport vehicles, and exhibitions that look to the future. Allow your guests to mingle amongst the exhibits, or dine in the main gallery space surrounded by the collection. Adjoining the main space is the Design for Travel gallery, which is ideally lit with stimulating flash projections of art and design on transport in London where your guests can dance the night away.

The Cubic theatre is perfect for a seminar, presentation or a film screening. It seats 121pax, eleven rows of eleven which are conveniently tiered with specially designed moquette seating. It also has a breakout foyer where you can carry out your registration, cloakroom service and have refreshment breaks, buffet lunches or networking with drinks and canapés. All theatre AV such as a projector, large projection screen, speakers, lectern, stage area, microphones and WiFi is included. The only additional costs are the Cubic Foyer LCD screens at only £150 (great for branding) and of course catering. We also offer fantastic evening mood lighting from £400+VAT which can add that special wow factor.

The Boardroom opened in the Spring of 2009 and offers state of the art technology including Wifi. Bring your lap top and plug directly into our projector, or use a USB which can be run though the in-house system. Seating a maximum of 20 guests the wall panel offers a range of lighting states to accommodate any presentation needs. From bright natural sunlight to easy block out screens, every state you can imagine is only the click of a button away.

At the end or even during a successful conference or meeting, inspire delegates with a free visit to the Museum galleries. Great for team building we have museum based quizzes, stamper trails (surprising fun for all ages) and past events have even ventured out into Covent Garden to collect required items!
