The Westminster Collection (TWC) celebrated it's 5th Anniversary Summer Reception at one of it most prestigious member venues, Lancaster House, on Monday, 9th June.
René Dee, Chairman and founder member of TWC, welcomed over 100 representatives of its 20 full members and 6 Associates together with selected guests at a superb summer reception in the State Dining Room and gardens of Lancaster House, a stone's throw away from Buckingham Palace.
In his speech to all present, he emphasised the success of TWC having become recognised as the leading business tourism marketing collective for venues and events in Westminster during their first 5 years, and praised the support and co-operation received from Westminster City Council and Visit London, in particular, for their assistance in reaching this point.
Zanine Adams, UK Sales & Event Solutions Manager for Visit London added her own praise for the excellent and complimentary positioning achieved by TWC, as an important sub-brand of London.
René Dee highlighted the fact that TWC Members represented some of the very best venues, hotels and services, not just in Westminster but, throughout London and, that they generated over £60 million income between them that, as a direct result, had a significant and positive economic impact on the economies of Westminster, in particular and, London overall.
A special 5th anniversary cake had been produced by the students of Westminster Kingsway College, one of TWC's Associate Members and the UK's leading catering and hospitality college, also based in Westminster.
