The Royal Society, the national academy of science of the UK and the Commonwealth, would like to announce the completion of a £1.3M refurbishment of its main rooms, upgraded audio visual facilities and the creation of an additional kitchen.   Based in the heart of London, just a 2-minute walk from Charing Cross tube and mainline stations, The Royal Society occupies 6-9 Carlton House Terrace, and offers stunning views of St James Park and The Mall.  The Society's conference facilities are available for hire and comprise

  ·       12 flexible and refurbished rooms with capacities ranging from 10 to 300 people.

  .       All meeting rooms have both natural daylight and air-conditioning.
