One Whitehall Place Rejoins The Westminster Collection

One Whitehall Place, adjacent to the splendid 5-star Royal Horseguards
Hotel, and located within Westminster's political and cultural hub, just
off Whitehall itself, has rejoined The Westminster Collection.  A founder
member of The Collection, One Whitehall Place was originally designed and
built as the National Liberal Club during the 1880’s. Its function rooms
boast much of the Club’s original architectural splendour; tall, lofty
ceilings, glorious faience tiling, and intricate plasterwork feature
prominently throughout, and are linked by the unique unsupported marble
staircase that spirals through three storeys.

The King's Fund Joins The Westminster Collection

The King's Fund, based in Cavendish Square, close to Oxford Circus
and the health community of Harley Street, is the latest of Westminster's
premier conference, meeting and event venues to join The Westminster
Collection.  Founded in 1897 by the Prince of Wales, later to become King
Edward VII, the purpose of The King's Fund was to allow for the collection
and distribution of funds in support of the hospitals of London.  With the
advent of the NHS, The King's Fund has evolved to meet new needs.  However,
the principal aim of the Fund remains the same - to improve health and
health care.

TWC Networking Event Sold Out

The Westminster Collection's networking event, 'A Night To Remember
With TWC', to be held 7pm -9pm at the Royal Courts of Justice on Tuesday,
22nd September in just 9 days time has already  exceeded, by far, its
original expectation of 500 guests to it when 850 pre-registrations had
been received by last week.  It's attendance is now anticipated to be
between 600 and 700 and, as a result, has had to stop accepting further
registrations so as not to exceed the maximum capacity of 800, including
members and staff.

London venue One Queen Anne's Gate is launching its support of Tap into WaterAid.

The conference facility located in Westminster is suggesting to customers to make a voluntary donation to WaterAid for every bottle of chilled tap water they consume during their event. The scheme works by simply ticking a box on the One Queen Anne's Gate booking form to pledge an amount to Tap into WaterAid.

The Westminster Collection (TWC), comprising a broad range of prestigious venues, hotels and hospitality facilities in Westminster, is providing BTEC National Diploma Hospitality Supervision students at Westminster Kingsway College with vocational work experience as part of their annual TWC Showcase event. The TWC Showcase has become an annual fixture for event planners and buyers looking for suitable venues and facilities in Westminster and is now in its 3rd year. The 2009 event will be held at Central Hall Westminster from 4.30pm-7.30pm on Thursday, 5th February 2009, with a creative theme devised by the students at Westminster Kingsway College.
